At Happy Little Angels Day Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation (EYFS) Framework. This allows us to be confident that your child will be receiving a high quality learning journey which supports their development and learning.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum has 7 areas of learning and development.

While your child is at Happy Little Angels Day Nursery they will have their own personal ‘Learning Journey’ which will document all information about your child. It will be a place where information can be sought about your child’s learning and development. This information will be recorded by observations of the children, examples of their work and photographs.

Our Out of the Curriculum

Local outdoor trips to our community library, local markets, pet shops and visits to the parks and museum are well planned and organised.

We have a wonderful outdoor area, comprising with nature garden, play area and soft floor area for children to play daily in all weather conditions.

Our nature garden for children to play and explore bugs and insects and birds visiting, we grow our own vegetables and fruits where our children participate in gardening and planting and sowing seeds.

Children are introduced in baking and cooking lessons organised by our staff and introducing fresh and nutritional foods.

Some children choose a simple uniform in preparation for “big school”, and teachers from the ‘big school’ will visit the children to introduce themselves.
